Pale old gold with a surfeit of tiny bubbles, very attractive. Quince, lemon, and chalk aromas open up immediately with plenty of green apples. Peach cobbler sprinkled with cinnamon and grapefruit notes for days. Melted butter and moist limestone.
A champagne that’s always easy to love time and time again. Blanc de Blancs from the Grand Cru villages of Cramant, Chouilly, and Mesnil sur Oger. From a perpetual reserve dating back to 2009. Aged three years on lees with an extra brut dosage of 4 g/l. Striking acidity but very approachable. This could obviously benefit from a few more years of storage but it’s so graceful today.
On the palate there’s just a faint touch of oak. Citrus and spice are so nice here. Quite autolytic in nature. The spice carries over to the finish. You really can’t have too many of these.

Citrus nose, almonds, orange blossom, brioche. Delicate mouth, many and fine bubbles, chiseled bouquet, flexibility. Beautiful finish on minerality, citrus fruits.
Nez agrumes, amandes, fleur d’oranger, brioche. Bouche délicates, bulles nombreuses et fines, bouquet ciselé, souplesse. Belle finale sur la minéralité, les agrumes.
