Tasted blind. Light gold color. Exotic nose. Notes of citrus, grapefruit, tangerine, lemongrass, cut green apples and a little pineapple. Goes great with the cheese and snacks we have. I’m immediately in Sancerre world with my guess. Very mineral in it’s mouth feel, lots of acidity. I guess Cotat as the producer. This is a fun wine, and really well made.

Still think Pur Sang is my favorite in the Dagueneau line up for the precision and complexity that mingle with its touch of pliancy. The depth and intensity this wine has given its modest ripeness and SB structure blow my mind. So singular and full of character. Ripe grapefruit, buddah’s hand, ripe melons, asian pear, chervil, fresh sorrel, fresh peas, sea salt, crushed rocks, spring flowers.

Off the Crownshy NYC list, this was wonderfully fragrant with notes of citrus, green apples, limestone, and some mango. Great acidity matches a strong core of fruit. Young, needs time. Great food wine.

Cool experience trying this guy. 2011. Lots of grassy/veggie notes, flint, stoney minerality, melon and nice acid.

This was a special bottle for me. By far the oldest Dagueneau I’ve had. Honeyed bruised yellow pear, caramel, lychee. A marzipan brioche quality reminiscent of an older Pape Clement blanc or Haut Brion blanc. Thought provoking and absorbing. I kept going back for more. Thank you for the deep pull @Matthew Beckman.

Good god! Still holding its own, although the tension has relaxed, replaced with mild butter and hazelnut notes. Minerality is still evident. Lovely surprise.
