Merlot I'd never have guessed. Tastes very "natural." A bit of prickliness, bright cherry fruit.

Like most of Dickson's wines, there's a little bit of VA (and it tends to become more pronounced the longer the wine sits open). However, other than the slight VA this was a real joy to drink. Totally unique and happy that someone is making wines of this caliber in Texas.
