Like most of Dickson's wines, there's a little bit of VA (and it tends to become more pronounced the longer the wine sits open). However, other than the slight VA this was a real joy to drink. Totally unique and happy that someone is making wines of this caliber in Texas. — 8 years ago
I'm intrigued by this. Norton & Lenoir, 12.8%, all cidery and VA. If THIS is possible in TX then there might be hope. — 11 years ago
Earthy natural wine but pricey. $60 direct from winery — 5 years ago
Unmistakably aged Chablis. Beeswax, blue cheese and honeysuckles breath out into a dance. Comes out fresher with air. Cheers Dickson! — 9 years ago
Oh my f"n dog. This wine kicks ass!!! Juicy, gutsy, totes satisfying, but refined, not huge -- extremely well balanced, and... whatever Robert Parker said. Surprise: 80% merlot, just 20% cab. Can't imagine a better wine for the great grilled Dickson Market burgers we #served it with. — 11 years ago
Still alive and kickin. This was truly special. Slight amount of VA (as with most of Lewis' wines) but it works well here. Crunchy red fruits, rose petals, tar and garrigue. Acidity and minerality are spot on. — 8 years ago
