Red Rock Terrace Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Dark fruit perfection. Smoke and cedar. Was hard not to finish after opened.

This shows some bricking. Classic cabernet cassis (black currant)fruit. Fennel, hints of cedar, a nice dusty/gravel note. Tannins are soft (almost plush) and open. Acidity builds as it opens up. This hit its peak on night two after remaining fairly reticent on the first evening. The third evening it was singing nicely but lacked the intensity of the second night.

Still young drinks perfectly. One of the worlds greats!

Tasting blind in a flight of 2001 and shined in the line up. Beautifully integrated and heart warming.

2001 - still young. Integrated, smokey ultra dry. Great with ribeye

@Tina Dickinson this is delicious. Cherry coke, dark wild fruits , great acidity and medium body. Young.

Drinking smooth right now and will be for quite some time.
