Ramitello Molise Rosso Montepulciano Blend

Fun wine with a nose that screams Italy.

Lots of spices associated with oak and barrel aging. Mouth coating tannins. Cherry and dirty leather on the palate. Young gun that needs time and air.

85% Montepulciano, 15% Aglianico. Exuberant dark cherries verging on plums. Soft textured at first, & then the acid kicks in. A little simple, but nice.

When you let this wine open it shows soft full bodied red and black fruits with spices.

Still a damned tasty wine for the $$. I need to get to Molise :-)

Blend of Montepulciano and Aglianico grapes. Deep ruby color. Plum, wild berry, dark chocolate, licorice, mushroom and leather. Rich and velvety. A whole lot going on here. Long finish.

Tasty. A little on thr rustic side. Cherries, dark fruit, spice and leather. Smooth.

Great value for $12. Easy to drink

Nose is cassis and plum compote. Very heady and hearty smelling. Flavors are berrilicious with a bit of coffee and cocoa. Classic Italian. Bitter, smokey and tannic all in good ways.

Lots of great flavor with no bite.
