I love Detert wines but this was an odd vintage for me. More savory/herbal notes than fruit, strong minerality - and a nice acidity intertwined with smooth tannins. But there was a funk on the nose (other reviews I've read mention barn yard). This had a few hours in a decanter and the fruit never really revealed itself. Just not my profile and very unlike other vintages from Detert (which I've rated 9+).
