Fruity and fresh still. Alcohol was noticeable at first and there was some bitterness in the finish but a bit of air cured that.

Certain wines taste effortless and at peace with the universe...this is one of them.

Delicious. Ended up pairing very well with steak and mushroom cream sauce. Very drinkable.

Thought to check back in on a wine that I used to drink often many years ago that I haven't tried for many vintages. The wine is great and it's as I remembered it; most of the aromas are there (bitter geranium, rose petals, some toffee under the geranium) and it is actually quite pleasant. There's only one big problem; it's really, really hot. 14% interferes with the enjoyment of the wine. If only it could be dialed down to 13%.

Nice easy drinking Spanish red. Spice, mild grip, fairly supple. Opened up real nice.

Verging on our new "house wine," a regular bottle for hanging out in front of the fire.

Full spectrum of flavor, from bright red fruit to leather, with a finish that is slightly bitter and reminiscent of fernet.
