Just looking a little young and reticent at the moment. Florals over blueberry, plum, dark cherry along with touches of white pepper and leather. Drying tannins and slight glycerolic palate feel it currently disjointed

Smoky, violet and raspberries, silky tannins, a little restrained on a quick taste, would like to see how it opens up.

Mencia in Bierzo is often compared to cabernet Franc in France. This is 95% variety. Clear, ruby on the paler side; clean, M intensity aromas of red fruits and blackberry, almost raisiny, rose; dry with M sour acidity; tannins are fine, tacky and angular; slightly sour on the finish. (The style of Mencia from Bierzo is usually black fruit and violet, this not so much.) Like a band playing many things at the same time.
