Excellent red, super accessible now with a little bit of acid on the front. Surprisingly balanced heat in the end with 15.5% on this guy. Decanted and great to drink now.

What a surprise!
I had this before (no notes) and for some reason recollect a bad experience. But I was very wrong! There is a lovely depth here. This is what I would expect from a $75+ cuvée. It is soft and plush with richness and pleasant finish. Not quite Rutherford and its dust but all together very pleasant!

Definitely needs time, very tight. Rutherford dirt, graphite, chocolate and black dark fruit. Good but would wait a couple of years.
