2008 or 2009 was probably one of the years I first visited Denner. They had their big bold pants on back then. It was a Hospice de Rhone sensation. Glad to read they have dialed it back in recent vintages, though now it is up to me to get some bottles.

Fantastic, great with red meat and earthy sides (mushrooms, truffles, etc). Had it with Nic at 5a5.

Best of the night. These are good upon release, but two years of age on this wine is awesome.
