Les Launes Crozes-Hermitage Syrah

Subtle is the name for Crozes-Hermitage. Medium body, medium tannin, generous acid and a palate that presents itself almost sequentially. There is freshness to the fruit, particularly the blueberry and currant, displaying over a layer of gravel and a touch of barnyard funk. Think opposite a Chuck Smith Syrah, but on the edge of becoming hollow. Drink now through 2020.

Easily one of my most often bought bottles for casual drinking & cooking. Fine raspberries & nice acidity.
