Interesting (at least initially) blend of Bordeaux grapes Malb, Cab S, Merlot, Pet V, and Cab F; and some Shiraz added to spice it up. Color is dark red, rim is bluish, and viscosity med-high; nose is dominated by Cab green vegetal notes, clear mineral "plasty" notes and hints of liquorice and cafe mocha; rich and powerful on the palate, black currants and spices and herbs, noticeable tannins and a balanced youthful high-acid finish. If I would get this blind, I would guess I had a Cab-dominated wine from a moderate to warm climate of good quality.

May 4th, 2016The color is amazing! It's almost black it's so red! The nose is piercing and the flavor has so much pepper and spice. I didn't like it at first but it really grew on me.

Feels and tastes a bit like a cab but this Shiraz is easy and enjoyable drinking. Very approachable wine. Having a wonderful 2nd year anniversary with my boo.
