The first arrived from England in 1834 and it was his son, George who in 1868 founded the port firm that bears his name. Dark red worh aromatic nose. On the palate ripe fruit flavors of blackberry and cherry. Smooth with good balance on lingering finish ending with a sweet fruit character.
