Have to say I was a little disappointed in this one. The wine doesn’t appear to have the structure I’m used to from Dehlinger, and I don’t know that I would hold it a whole lot longer. That said, it certainly was a decent mid-week wine. Just not up to the level of the other cabs and clarets I’ve had from them.

The black fruit is still present though on the downside with a touch of green showing. Drank this on the wrong side of the hill but still enjoyable enough.

What a great drinking wine and to think this is Dehlinger’s second Cab in their lineup. Very complex and integrated with dark fruits and more all around, just a lush wine.

Has 30% Syrah and it shows in a very dark color and some other elements. Nose and taste have a lot of cassis, dark fruits and herbs. Drinking great now and no reason to hold it too much longer
