Wow! Outstanding Cabernet. Layers of generous cassis and a firm tannin structure. This has serious intensity and length of flavour and is excellently balanced. Just a kick ass mouthful.

Decanted for 1 hour prior to drinking. Halliday rated this 97/100 which leads me to think that there was something wrong with mine. Flat and lacking in any sort of real flavour or complexity. At a third of the price this would be a disappointment. Will give it another chance to see if this was an anomaly. Fingers crossed.

Wow, what a cracking wine! This is the complete package just brimming with lovely, soft, beguiling Cabernet aromas of cassis, leather and leaf. What struck me was the beautiful licorice and fine dark chocolate. Beautiful, structured yet immensely enjoyable even now :)
