Clean and light for a Zin. Fruit forward and lighter body than most Zins.

A lighter Zin with supple berries, liquorice, spice and a hint of mintiness on the note but a tad bitter on the palate and a short finish.

Spice and vanilla balanced with dark fruitiness and soft tannins with just the right amount of acidity.

2012 in 2017. Very luscious. Excellent zin. A lot of berry flavor. Nice balance. Can pair with many foods.

I am a fan of Duckhorn Vineyard wines in general. This is not my favorite of their offerings but is a light, airy zin. Medium body, with a slight mustiness on the nose to complement forest berries. Smooth but short finish. Taste seems a bit disjointed and didn't come together quite as I hoped.

Super disappointed. Not exciting at all - purchased an additional bottle at a different store to make sure it was consistent, and yes, both bottles were equally miserable for the price. Spend your money on cline ancient vines if you like a good Zin for half the cost.
