Deep Ruby with aromas of black and red fruits with spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and plum with notes of oak and baking spices. Firm grippy tannins, medium finish ending with fruit and spice. Drink now no aging benefit.

Picked this mass produced and inexpensive blend off a convenience store shelf just for the sake of it. What’s inside is about 6 different grape varieties blended together without any clear direction or intent other than to be non-offensive to mindless indulgence. Fruit heavy, medium bodied, little structure. Drinkable nonetheless.

2019. California red blend that doesn’t have any distinct varietal characteristics that I can identify but it isn’t over processed either. Made for a nice after dinner sipper with friends.
