Firm grippy tannins, medium finish ending with fruit and spice. Drink now no aging benefit.

Picked this mass produced and inexpensive blend off a convenience store shelf just for the sake of it. What’s inside is about 6 different grape varieties blended together without any clear direction or intent other than to be non-offensive to mindless indulgence. Fruit heavy, medium bodied, little structure. Drinkable nonetheless.

Spicy red fruit. Thin mouth feel predicted by lack of legs, but nice, dry finish.

2019. California red blend that doesn’t have any distinct varietal characteristics that I can identify but it isn’t over processed either. Made for a nice after dinner sipper with friends.
