Duckhorn Portfolio California Cabernet Sauvignon

Nice cab, strong tannins, dark fruit, high acid. Nice meaty wine.

A crowd pleasing Cali cab. Vanilla and plum aromas, some cigar too. Dark berry flavors, quite simple. Drinks lightly with a medium body, low acidity, and velvety finish but I’m slightly put off by some residual sweetness. That’s just my preference though, I know many people will really enjoy this.

Good medium body cab, not too much fruit.

Enjoyable pre-dinner wine. 😉

Very nice. Not strong lingering aftertaste. Dry, yummy.

Steak dinner at home. Excellent.
