Blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot, Deep Ruby with aromas of black fruits and herb spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and plum with tobacco, cedar and herb black pepper spice. Firm dry tannins, medium finish with spicy oak ending. Just ok. Not a fan!

Blend of 90% California Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% California Merlot. Dark ruby color. Aromas of black berry/currant, dusty earth and oak. Pallet is rich with flavors of black berry/raspberry, blueberry, cranberry and plum with hints of baking spices and oak. Hint of vanilla on the finish. Fairly soft tannins. No evidence of “smoke-taint.” Not overly plush and luxurious but this wine is fairly well balanced and provides good and consistent value.
