Marzemino d'Isera, from Trentino. It is not a Cabernet franc, as Delectable says, but a local variety, called Marzemino. It reminded me of Refosco from Friuli and I have read that the grapes are related. It is quoted in Mozart's Don Giovanni. But I find most Refosco to be solid 90s, Marzemino is high 80s. I paired it with lean chicken and pasta al pomodoro e basilico. Lean.
