This La Bohème Act Two 2018 Pinot Noir Rosé is matched with Chef Ben Levene’s Roasted Heirloom Beetroots, Gorgonzola, Candied Walnuts & Roquette 👌

La Bohème is made by the lovely folk at De Bortoli in Victoria’s Yarra Valley wine region. It is a dry rosé and is classed as vegetarian and vegan friendly 🌿

In the glass I found it a lovely pale onion skin colour. Cherries dusted with baking spice + a hint of anise come through on the nose alongside a whiff of lemons. In the mouth it’s delicate and smooth as I tend to find with rosé made from Pinot Noir. It’s extremely fresh and thirst quenching. Perfect for summer and salads!

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #winesample

Not a patch on the 2014 which was drier and more savoury. Nonetheless this was a good value Rosé

A lovely, crisp fully ripe onion skin coloured Rosé. Hooray! A hint of Pinot lusciousness on the palate really balanced this out beautifully. Great VFM.
