Airport Pinot.

A bit tired & featureless

Took a while to open up but really got going when matched with pumpkin & amereti filled pasta

Waaaay better than the 2014; free of that green stemmy smell and taste. Still needs a year or so to come together, but it's a good value pinot.

Herbaceous nose suggesting unripe stems, and it comes through astringently on the palate. It dominates what otherwise could be a decent basic pinot. Will more time bring it back into balance? I'm skeptical.

Well rounded, slightly gamey, good fruit intensity. A few years could see some real improvement.

I imagine this will age well. On opening it's aggressively acidic, green and beetrooty. Next day though, loads of plum and spice box. Wait.

I like my Pinot's light, but with a little fruit and length. This one does the light, but not much of the rest 😐
