This is a nice wine, but in comparison to their Old Vine and Elevation 1147, this is more youthful and accessible in style. Not overly high acidity. Dark in style with ripe red and black fruit in the middle and a very tannic finish.

My wine of the night. It has a shorter finish than the 1147 but it's just so much more balanced. I like that it shows more on the red fruit spectrum.

Aug 24th, 2017Dark and brooding; deep purple with a dense nose of blackberry, cases, wild flowers and licorice. Full bodies with medium plus + acid. Bold bramble fruit with floral tones dominate. The tannins are soft and fine grained with a long lingering finish.

Super dark, super sexy Cab... on the nose, cassis, black currant, dark olive tapenade and tar complimented by crushed (dried) rose petals. This is a powerful blockbuster type wine with a finish that goes on and on . Big as well as complex..Super velvety tannins. It's a monster now but should be age worthy

Licorice aroma and a full blackberry and vanilla on the nose. We let it breathe two hours before approaching it. Nice robust velvety blend. Cherry blackberry and creme de cassis. Its good!
