The 2015 little joint is good when you need a quick little fade, fancy as place for wine looks like Drakes house. Wine is good

Pours inky dark with a big intense bouquet of blackberries and plums. Soft smooth blueberries and black berries upfront. This changes to a hint of spice, vanilla and red cherries/ plums. Smooth and silky dry finish. Long dryness. Not your usual bland merlot, this has intense layers.

Asked the sommelier to open and decant so it could breathe while we were enjoying the champagne. Beautifully fruity nose without being overpowering. Velvety soft fruit and tannins, fantastic pairing with the lamb trio and hangar steak.
