4 people found it helpfulJan 3rd, 2016Deep scarlet violet glass with translucent scarlet rim. Medium nose of blackberry jam, clove, eucalyptus against a subtle background of dry tobacco and leather. Medium full bodied tart acid hit to the palate of dark fruits, pepper and cocoa. Finishes long with big soft chalky tannins. Well balanced wine with good structure. At $37.99 USD, a little dear but still good for the occasional splurge or accompaniment to your rich dish.
