As great as I remember but better. At almost 14 years old this wine is wonderful still. Cigar and pepper notes on the nose. Jam, cassis and berry fruits. Long long finish. Glad I've still got a couple

Lovely aged red! Dark fruits grainy tannins. Beautifully evolving from sip to sip.

At its peak IMO. Ripe and juicy yet, but tannins and acidity are in the precipice. Drink 'em if you've got them.

Getting better after 24hrs in decanter but tannins still relatively overshadow the rest of the wine.

Thanks to John Gaviglio for sharing this gem. Blackberry and s little funk, that wore off with some air. A little heat at first, which also wore off with time. Big, round, full fruit with a bit of eucalyptus on the finish. Sad to see the last sip go.

Another solid well made blend. Plenty of fruit and has the acidity missing from the Tempranillo blend.
