Reserve Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon

Delicious. Daou Vineyards tasting at NCWC 10/27/17.

Granted it’s young, but this was a touch heavy handed on the oak for me. The vanilla overwhelmed the mid palate fruit and I don’t think there is enough tannic structure to allow it to integrate well. Drinks well now as a steakhouse kind of wine.

Great find at Morton’s. Celebrating my 61st bday. Very smooth. Mid-50’s cost.
