Reserve Eye of the Falcon Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon Petit Verdot

New vintage of this Cab and Petit Verdot blend. Grippy tannins, and powerful layered red and black fruit. Long finish. As the wine opens up beautiful hints of cassis. Nicely integrated at 5 years. Great wine to celebrate all the moms. ❤️😊

78% cab, 22% Petit Verdot. Beautiful nose, velvety mouth feel. Elegant and complex. I am more impressed with this blend than previous vintages. But it may also just have aged a bit more. Delicious at 5 years.

Elegant blend with cab front and center. Layers of fruit. And a bit of austerity coming from the Petit Verdot. Very good. Rating affirmed 2/12/22. Super Bowl Sunday.

Very easy to drink, smooth, fruity notes, very slight acidic finish.

Daou reserve Cabernet. Dark purple in color. Nice mouth feel. Dark fruit with hint of tobacco. Nice sipping wine.

Deep and rich from the Petit Verdot. Reminds me a dark chocolate.

Dark red, some purple. High alc on nose, plum, stewed red fruit. Dry, some spice. Would be good food wine.
