Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon

Lush paso fruit, sweet smoke, licorice flavors. Great cab for sub 25

Very smooth and balanced. Deep garnet color with hints of plums and licorice. Not too fruity, and nicely mellowed tannins.

Pretty tasty for $20

Tonight we had guests over and we opened the 2013 Daou Cabernet Sauvignon which was an enjoyable bottle of wine. Great QPR.

On the nose there is blackberry, black cherry, cassis, menthol and dry dusty soil.

On the palate there are notes of black cherry, blackberry, cassis, herbal notes, licorice, smokey oak and wet clean soil.

The wine is a medium to full bodied wine with medium + acidity and medium smooth tannins. A nice start to the night that was enjoyed by all. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷🖒

2013 Vintage. Medium + bodied plush rich fruit that is pure. Nice value.

Will not disappoint

Daou is the ruling Central Coast Cab maker. Pure bliss drinking these awesome wines. Silky and smooth, nicely balanced. I need to visit ASAP.

Prunes, vanilla and coconut. Nasty. A little better the next day, but still not my cup of tea.
