Delightfully old-school. Highly expressive volcanic, mineral terroir imprint. Briary, racy fruit and lots of smoke, tar and crushed violet.

So tough to follow up an amarone with an aglianico so I know im doing no justice here but its very light and subtle. Not bad but nothing special.

A traditionally elegant wine. Young and acidic.

Solid Aglianico. Not terribly complex but a good daily driver.

This was right up my alley for a fun, easy but pleasing drinker. Punched way above its weight class. Light, bright cherry, earth, graphite - on the nose a slight floral note as well. Long finish, light but tannic. Could spend some more time in the bottle and still improve. SommS

I really enjoyed this. It has more structure than the reds I’ve been drinking lately. Violet floral notes, dried cranberry, tar, and very well integrated tannin. Stood up well to a hearty Italian dinner.
