Seemed very tight to begin with, just a little chalk and some black berries. Nice dark berries and cherries on the palate with some moderate tannins (6.5/10). Some cinnamon and nutmeg over a savory undertone. Literally melted on your tongue. Savory undertone with some floral herbs. Moderate plus bodied with a slight dry long finish. On day two and three it developed some more complex and lighter nuances such as truffles and cinnamon. Still holding together with a decent amount of tannins. Not as fruity as some of the fruit bombs out of Napa but definitely one of the best Sonoma Cabernets we have experienced so far. Drink till 2023.

Dec 8th, 2017Deep ruby red in color. The nose is like opening a pack of spearmint Trident gum. There’s also aromas of smashed blackberries, mocha and graphite. Full bodied with soft tannin and balanced acidity. The mocha is more pronounced on the palate, and it’s joined with flavors of blackberries, cherries and sticky herbs. The spearmint return on the the finish, which is long lasting and has a mouthfeel I can only describe as corn-mealish.
