This Wishing Clock of the Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc 2020 won a gold medal at the Sommelier Challenge International Wine Competition (USA) 2020 👏 It retails for $27.50 and has a high level of natural acidity, is bone dry and sits at 12% ABV.

A big thanks to the Dandelion team for sending this sample my way - it was thoroughly enjoyed!

We matched it to a lemon and prawn orzo dish - it was the perfect match!

In the glass it’s a pale straw colour. Passionfruit, grapefruit pith, gooseberry and herb notes rise from the glass. While in the mouth it has a silky texture with an über refreshing juicy citrus finish. It made me think of lemon acid drop lollies that I used to have growing up as a kid. Delicious!

This #wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
