Damilano
Langhe Arneis
The origins of the Damilano family dates back to over a century ago, when Guiseppe Borgogno, the great-grandfather of the current owners, started to grow and make wine from his own grapes. Pale straw yellow with fresh stone and tropical fruit aromas. On the palate apple, melon and citrus with a touch of earthiness. Reminiscent of a Sauvignon Blanc. Good acidity and balance ending with mineral tones.

Jun 1st, 2017Arne is a very interesting grape variety. Not as dry, not as fruity, not boring. In a quiet, inexpensive package, there are pears, tart apples, and good amount of mineralogy. The finish is very pleasant. This wine is seriously underpriced, try it!
