This is what ten year Barolo is supposed to taste like. At the front end of the tasting/drinking window, smoothed tannins, lots of structure without being overwhelming. Tar and roses. Acid medium, medium minus for Barolo. Paired with bbq ribs, garlic Brussels sprouts, patate arrosto, spinach. It worked. I'm a fan. I decanted this an hour prior to drinking.

2005 young but had to try..very nice elegant silky and balanced. Lot's of room to grow!
