Pretty crazy and still very alive at 18 years. Hay, caramel popcorn, dried flowers on the nose, porcini and Marsala in the mouth. Umami in spades. Oxidized and completely tertiary but totally holding its own with nice acid, good structure and a lengthy finish. Deep deep amber in the glass. Not sure this will last much longer but a great experience now.

Possibly in a weird phase right now - a lot of sulfur but that does blow off & give way to peaches & honey & almonds & cheese rind - will be interesting to see how my 2 remaining bottles continue to develop....still love this wine even through the growing pains 😊

Couldn't get past the ladybug taint on this wine with the herbal and grassy components on the nose and palate. Crisp acid and vibrant on finish, but overall, not my favorite.
