Had this with a nice steak mushrooms and roasted melanzana with our own extra virgin olive oil. The wine was delicious, bold but not overpowering with a nice cherry after flavor.

Dusty, (over) ripe black cherries, uplifting herbs, a hint of tree bark and a slight whiff of mushroomy undergrowth.
So smooth & polished on the palate. Great flow, precision & energy. Depth, too. Polished yet firm tannins, energetic acidity, pure fruit. This is rich yet restrained, with savoury fruit and great drinkability.
