Love this blend of Tempranillo, Grenache and Carignane! My favorite of the premium red tasting.

Amazing 40 year old Rioja. Still holding onto red fruits and beautiful acidity. Signature sweet and sour notes evident. Remarkable.

This has the sweet elegance of a well balanced, aged wine.

Well balanced on the nose. Notes of ripe red berries and cherries. Herbaceous and a little woody. On the palate, a linear continuation of the nose. Tannins add structured depth brining a little spice to the silky finish. Drinking now and well. Would pair well with meats like lamb or suckling pig. Aromas start on the nose

Elegant old world with a new world punch in top year Rioja @ £50 that's going to get better & better 👍 but a little to balsamic @ moment & preferred 01 but has potential 😎

🍇 85% Tempranillo, 10% Graciano & 5% Mazuelo

🍷 Opaque deep ruby

👃 Deep stewed dark cherries buried in smokey soaked toasted oak w/ vanilla, balsamic infused sherry & light cocoa

👄 Med creamy smooth chewy dark cherry cocoa & balsamic body that's well balanced

🎯 Med+ dark rich cherry, cocoa & balsamic linger
