On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry with licorice and herbs. Fine chalky tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, herb and mineral character.

On the palate flavors of cherry and red plum with licorice and floral spice. Medium+ finish, fine tannins, good acidity balance, ending with fruit and mineral character.

For their first ‘organic’ wine, they tilted more to Garnacha & not the Rioja typical Tempranillo. It’s an odd experience, since I’m so used to drinking the latter from Rioja. This has more of a bass note with some floral edges- I like it, but just not in a Rioja exuberant way.
