Les Chanvrières Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc

There was some definite funk to this wine. Yellow green color. Dry. Smelt like summer pool floatie plastic. Graphite & pear on the palate.

Citrus, grapefruit, chalky minerality with herbs. Neutral oak. Lingering finish.

Buttery, light high grassy long finish

I think I got this at Costco. Tangy but balanced, good fruit, not too tart, a little bit of sweetness, good with food and overall very drinkable and pleasant. I like. #sancerre #sauvignonblanc #loire #france #dogsofdelectable

Well paired with flavorful or robust cuisines or cheeses, appetizers.

A little sweet for Sancerre for my taste, but still a decent summer white
