One of my inexpensive go to reds on a cold night with a fresh pizza. Youthful fruit, decent acid, good weight and tasty finish. Love Sicilian wines as they offer excellent value!

This is a young wine. It can definitely sit for a few years. Pairing with homemade pizza with bacon and onion. ON THE NOSE: licorice, carob, cherry and plum. ON THE PALATE: wood smoke, cherry, plum and dried herbs. Medium body and medium finish.

The neighborhood bully. A bombastic infant of a wine. Intensity of plum, violet, coffee, blackberry. Needs to rest 5 years

100% Nero d’ Avola. Quite hot. Dark ruby color. The alcohol dominates both the nose and palate. There is some red and blue fruit but it is difficult to distinguish. This overpowering wine “bites back” at you. Next please.
