One of my inexpensive go to reds on a cold night with a fresh pizza. Youthful fruit, decent acid, good weight and tasty finish. Love Sicilian wines as they offer excellent value!

This is a young wine. It can definitely sit for a few years. Pairing with homemade pizza with bacon and onion. ON THE NOSE: licorice, carob, cherry and plum. ON THE PALATE: wood smoke, cherry, plum and dried herbs. Medium body and medium finish.

Not fair to compare it to the Noa since this one has 1 year more bottle age. Beautiful nose, very round and full of red fruit. It taste more "complete" than the Noa.

Supermarket bottle 16 euro. Nice stuff. Well made. Would buy again.
