If I'm dreaming don't wake me. Drinking wine in Sicily is pure enjoyment! Is it the star lit sky, the beautiful people, the quaint court yard, the rhythm of the evening or the wine? I'm held hostage, and I don't want to escape! The seamlessness in which the food interplays with the wine is beyond beautiful. Cherry, over ripe strawberry and mounds of good earth. But what gets me is the texture and acidity. Mount Etna has shown its uniqueness!As Burgundy prices skyrocket, I increasingly turn to Nerello Mascalase !

Pleasant earthy and soft nice nose try with appetizers of Sicily

Soft and light on the fruit not much of a backbone well balanced some black fruit and soft tannins

I cracked this with coq au vin and it was lovely. Subtle dried cranberry and raisin, flint and stone, with characteristic tight tannins and high acidity. I thought that a short while in the decanter helped it immensely.

First one for mr from this region. Very interesting, acidty is quite high, tannin low. Which is nice. Somewhat spicy. Would go very nice with a pizza.

それほどミネラリーではなく、
この価格からするともう少しいところ。テッレ・ネーレやベナンティなぞの方が美味しいと思う。
