Black Forest California Decadent Red Blend

Hint of pepper on the nose, tart at first but smooth finish.

Great everyday wine, lots of bold cherry notes and silky finish, goes down like a Cabernet Sauvignon with a touch of sweetness.

Pleasant, not too decadent, or sweet, or full bodied. Probably stick to a similarly priced cab sav.

2014 vintage. Surprisingly well balanced for such an inexpensive wine. Fairly tannic with luscious dark berry/cherry notes and quite a bit of spice. Long and lovely finish. Good value red blend.

This is wonderful! Well balanced with wonderful big berries and a well rounded mouth feel. Creamy vanilla berries on the nose. Quite drinkable. Tasted against the Gen5 Ancestral Red, which was bigger and preferred, however, this Cupcake is exceptional and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Impressed for the price- nice dark cherry color, aromas of blackberry, dark cherry, mocha and cedar. Flavors of dark fruits with a nice dry red fruit finish. Paired well with Ghiradelli dark chocolate.

Wouldn’t pay more than $10, but good price at $10. Light and easy.
