Deep Ruby with aromas of pronounced earthy herb spices. The palate shows blackberry with pungent oaky tomato leaf spice. Tannins are biting and sticky, leaving a medium(-) finish ending with odd spicy character. In a word “pass.” Tasting Sample.

Mar 1st, 2020Excellent second label from Sheridan. Great PQR at $18. Lush dark fruit balanced by some charcoal, espresso, and violets. Could easily hold up against wines twice as expensive.

Jul 17th, 2020Delicious and bold without being big. Plenty of cassis, plum, dark cherry, espresso, balanced by a medium acidity. Great depth and breadth of flavors, not exactly refined, but charismatic in its exuberance. Good value and worth a try. May overdeveloped in the bottle — fear it could start to exhibit molasses flavors early — so feel free to drink now.
