Deep purple red in the glass. Abundant nose of cassis and black cherry. Echoed on the palate with firm but forgiving tannins, medium acidity, and a dark tarry and long finish. I’ve always said that Washington is the New World bridge between California and Bordeaux, and this is a classic example of how. New World fruit with an Old World ethos. Take this anywhere you’d take Left Bank Bordeaux OR a Napa Cab. Drink now through 2026.

Such a fabulous value. Drinks Haut-Medoc in style, and as good as the $30-60 Sheridan Cabs. Red plum skin, violet, espresso, red currant, and dark chocolate. Silky tannins, and a light pepper to the finish. I love this wine.

Delicious and bold without being big. Plenty of cassis, plum, dark cherry, espresso, balanced by a medium acidity. Great depth and breadth of flavors, not exactly refined, but charismatic in its exuberance. Good value and worth a try. May overdeveloped in the bottle — fear it could start to exhibit molasses flavors early — so feel free to drink now.

Was turned onto this by a friend and I have to say it’s going to be a main stay. Tannins are like butter with an excellent bite you’d expect from a Cab.
