Tangerine aromatics lace a stony core with lemon zest cotton balls. Classic Brett minerality flirting with the powdered lemon tart and seltzer. The funk grows on the north side of this rocky climb, and the view is superb.

Lots of funk on the nose and sour. Refreshing.

Local bottle shop got a big shipment of Crooked Stave, so more to come. Very crisp and dry. Freshly cut garden hose with a punch of passionfruit. Grassy nose. Fantastic.

First drink of the night - an excellent start.

I love everything about it, but it's way too tart for my taste. It's like a lemon warhead; novel, but not persistently pleasing.

2013-2015. 2014 is the clear winner.

Pineapple and tropical fruit notes and very fresh smelling. Zingy and lingering. Delicious!!

Exactly what I want in a barrel-aged Saison - yeasty, slightly tart & a bit of creaminess from the wood. This is so good.
