So I gave ruby port another shot. I am definitely a tawny port lover. The problem with ruby port is that it has the right idea, but it's all high notes. No depth of flavor. Tawny is like dubstep, syncopated high notes with profound bass drops. I love dubstep, and tawny port, to me they are one & the same. Music in my glass. This ports not bad, but it just feels like it's missing the bass. To be fair the ports probably decent, just not suited to my tastes.

Ruby port, used for Port wine sauce, bright garnet red in color, smell of raisin, plum, and vanilla, medium body, very sweet, short finish with a bit of heat after swallow.
