I’ve enjoyed Chalk Hill Cabernet before and bought this based on my prior good experiences. I’m not sure if this was a bad vintage or just a bad bottle but it was not drinkable. I literally poured it down the sink. There was no sign of spoilage but it tasted tart and slightly vinegary. Notably, I bought this on sale, so I wonder if the price was reduced for good reason!

Excellent Sonoma Cab, especially for the price. Deep dark fruits, well-balanced with subtle oak, earth and tannins.
