Jessie Vineyard Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

Darkly floral and youthfully inward, the 2022 Pinot Noir Jessie Vineyard opens with a spicy mix of cedar shavings, earth tones and crushed black raspberries, all lifted by a hint of mint. This is more energetic than expected yet also full of youthful tension. Tart red berries penetrate deeply as grippy tannins settle in toward the close. An air of autumnal spice and lavender lingers as the 2022 finishes with medium length and ample structure. (Eric Guido, Vinous, August 2024)

Still quite youthful. Reads like a warm vintage Pinot. Shows a touch of alcohol on Oak, but really good.

Oregon '99 Pinot noir dinner Top Five - 4th place (great texture, nice fruit, a little too weighty, not as much whole cluster as I like from Cristom)

Pencil shavings, parchment, still very lively with hints of bright fruit and balanced integrated tannins
