Reminiscent of a Northern Rhône Syrah. Meaty, black pepper, rich dark fruit, almost syrupy. Herbal, chewy but well integrated tannins. Pairs perfectly with pea protein.

Last bottle of a case of 2005, every bottle was exceptional and the evolution over the past 8 years has been really awesome. The heavy white pepper has given way to sleek earth, leather, a little dusty gravel and so much more. Such smooth and silky tannins smoothed our so nicely. Paired amazingly with honey lavender duck breasts and dark cherry studded wild rice for my wife’s birthday

Good, almost as good as 2005 but perhaps it just needs a little more time.
